3. Dave Grohl Describes What Makes Concerts So Electric

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl summed up our feelings for live events perfectly in his recent article in The Atlantic: “We’re human. We need moments that reassure us that we are not alone. That we are understood. That we are imperfect. And, most important, that we need each other. I have shared my music, my words, my life with the people who come to our shows. And they have shared their voices with me. Without that audience—that screaming, sweating audience—my songs would only be sound. But together, we are instruments in a sonic cathedral, one that we build together night after night. And one that we will surely build again.”

4. A Tearful Reunion

Four-year-old Mila Sneddon was finally able to embrace her father after seven weeks apart. Mila has leukaemia, and as her father was still going to work each day, he isolated separately in order to protect her. Last week, he was finally able to return home.

5. Winter is Coming

No, this has nothing to do with Game of Thrones. Winter, a 4-year-old llama, just might be the key to fighting Covid-19.

6. Zoos on Social Media

From the Blinding Lights TikTok challenge to behind-the-scenes live streams and even FaceTiming eels, zoos and rescues are keeping their animals and would-be visitors happy by embracing the digital experience. After all, who doesn’t want to watch penguins meeting fellow zoo animals or a panda rolling down a hill?
